Adult Small Groups
Often in a large organization, individuals have a hard time connecting to other people. Here at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, there are a number of small group ministries for adults to get involved in. Some center around bible study and education, while others focus on fellowship and community service, still others surround a common interest. We encourage you to explore the various small groups that are available. Feel free to check a few of them out to find one that's right for you.

Women's Circles
The three women’s circles (Esther Circle, Grace Circle, and Ruth Circle) all follow the format set forth in Lutheran Woman, a magazine and study guide published by the ELCA. The groups meet monthly for Bible study, service, fellowship and food. They differ in the dates and times that they meet, and somewhat in their service projects. Shepherd Groups
Shepherd Groups include anywhere from 6-16 people who meet for Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and service projects. One does not need to be a church member to join a Shepherd Group. The ministry is always encouraging groups to grow and new groups to start. Currently, there are a number of different Shepherd Groups that meet at various times throughout the week. What happens when you spell retirees backwards? You get an enthusiastic group of Seeriters! Membership in this group is open to all retirees, regardless of age, who like to meet for diverse, well-planned activities on a monthly basis. Past activities have included outings to the theater, a trip down the Rogue River, a round of golf, and a visit to Leavenworth, Washington. Individual members take responsibility for planning the events. The Seeriters are always planning events, call the church office for information on upcoming events: 503.635.4563

Quilters
The quilt ministry meets twice a month for fellowship and service. With nimble fingers and visions in of children and others being warmed by their quilts, they work away at God’s Pattern: “When we practice giving to others God changes us. And we gain the unexpected blessing of receiving extra joy as we become more like Christ.” Currently, this group meets the first and third Tuesday of each month to create quilts for people around the world.

Bible Studies
Groups get together for Bible Study throughout the year. This Winter and Spring, we have two groups doing a study on the book of Daniel. For more information on meeting dates and times please call the church office at 503-635-4563.

Men's Ministry
Men of Our Savior's have the opportunity to participate in the annual men's weekend retreat, quarterly inspirational meetings and numerous service projects. This ministry provides a great way to meet other men and also to offer a helping hand at the same time.

Women's Ministry
There are two women's retreat held each year, one in the Fall and the other in Winter. Each event features a guest speaker and gives the women of Our Savior's an opportunity for worship, study, and fellowship together.
